New submission from Vitor <[email protected]>: File from Matroska's brand new test-suite:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/matroska/files/test_files/matroska_test_w1.zip/download According to the description file, the file contains: ----------- This file is using the EBML feature that allows Master elements to have no known size. It is used for live streams because they don't know ahead of time the size of the Segment (virtually infinite) and even sometimes the size of the Clusters (no caching on the server side). The first timecode of the file also doesn't start at 0 since it's supposed to be a capture from something continuous. The SegmentInfo also doesn't contain any Duration as it is not know. The sample comes from the Big Buck Bunny open project. It contains Theora video (1280x720), Vorbis audio, uses only SimpleBlock (matroska DocType v2) A similar file can be created with mkclean using the "--live" option ----------- vi...@vitor:~$ ffplay test4.mkv FFplay version SVN-r24860, Copyright (c) 2003-2010 the FFmpeg developers built on Aug 21 2010 18:53:19 with gcc 4.2.4 (Ubuntu 4.2.4-1ubuntu3) configuration: --cpu=host --cc='ccache gcc' libavutil 50.24. 0 / 50.24. 0 libavcore 0. 6. 0 / 0. 6. 0 libavcodec 52.85. 1 / 52.85. 1 libavformat 52.78. 3 / 52.78. 3 libavdevice 52. 2. 1 / 52. 2. 1 libavfilter 1.37. 0 / 1.37. 0 libswscale 0.11. 0 / 0.11. 0 [matroska, webm @ 0x8bbcea0] Invalid EBML number size tag 0x0a at pos 35 (0x23) test4.mkv: Invalid data found when processing input ---------- messages: 11724 priority: normal status: new substatus: new title: "Live stream recording" matroska file not supported type: bug ________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue2177> ________________________________________________
