New submission from Hanno Meyer-Thurow <[email protected]>: I have been told to report this issue to ffmpeg from https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338370
This happens with ffmpeg trunk and mplayer trunk. Latest Naruto episodes exhibit this problem: http://takafansubs.com/torrents/%5BTaka%5D_Naruto_Shippuuden_178_%5B720p%5D%5BA3D1078C%5D.mp4.torrent $ mplayer -demuxer lavfpref -xineramascreen 1 naruto/\[Taka\]_Naruto_Shippuuden_178_\[720p\]\[A3D1078C\].mp4 ... Zu viele Videopakete im Puffer: (4096 in 33229961 Bytes). ( too many video packets in the buffer ) ... With '-demuxer mov' this does not happen. It looks like it just fills the buffer and boom Reimar Döffinger said that this is a bug in libavformat. ---------- messages: 12034 priority: normal status: new substatus: new title: 'too many video packets in the buffer' with mp4 (mplayer lavf demuxer) type: bug ________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue2246> ________________________________________________
