Is there any update as to how to workaround the bug in 
ffmpeg if retrieving over http? As it does work if the 
file is local.  See notes provided, I have tried 
feeding as PIPE, doesnt work, I have tried using -RE 
on the http location, doesnt work, the only option I 
have gotten to work is to download in a seperate 
process, then kick off ffmpeg in another process with 
the -RE flag against the local file name...

not a good workable solution though...
