New submission from Michael <[email protected]>:

When attempting to transcode from DVD to x264, with the most current clone from
git, using the following command:

/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -i "/home/mickyc/DVDRip/tmp/Serenity-c20.vob" -pass 1 -an
-sn -vf crop=12:64:704:352 -vcodec libx264 -vpre slow_firstpass -b 2048k -bt 85k
-y -flags2 +dct8x8+bpyramid -flags +loop -deblockalpha 2 -deblockbeta 5 -r
24000/1001 -threads 0 -v 9 -loglevel 99 -y -f matroska /dev/nul

ffmpeg throws exception as follows (full output included in ffmpeg.log99)
