I'm trying to mux very large video and audio files into MXF containers. If the
audio is larger than (approx) 4GB, FFmpeg crashes. The video files are approx
50GB
Video is MPEG2 @ 50Mb/s, audio is multichannel pcm_s24le 48Kz.
I've tried various workarounds all to no avail. e.g. tried cutting file in half,
the first half cuts fine (-t option) but the second half (-ss option) crashed
ffmpeg.
Here is the FFmpeg output from a file under 4GB which does work ok:
