New submission from dE <[email protected]>: When screencasting using ffmpeg, using x264 and pcm_s16le as such -
ffmpeg -r 25 -f x11grab -s 1280x800 -threads 10 -i :0.0 -f alsa -ac 1 -ar 22100 -ab 10K -i plughw:0,0 -ac 1 -ar 22100 -ab 10K -acodec pcm_s16le -vcodec libx264 -vpre lossless_ultrafast -r 25 -threads 10 Desktop/hello.mkv The audio video is out of sync (see clearly after 3 minutes). When the resultant video is trancoded to separate the audio and video, the audio is longer than the video. In certain setups, even the opposite happens (like with libvorbis as acodec) ---------- messages: 13655 priority: normal status: new substatus: new title: A/V out of sync with x11grab. type: bug ________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue2601> ________________________________________________
