While trying to transcode a customer-uploaded mp4 file, ffmpeg spends
several hours encoding before exiting on an error status. I'd provide a
sample video, but it might be sensitive data and cutting up the video
using dd doesn't produce anything ffmpeg groks so I hope the following
information will do.
Command line: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vcodec libx264 -vpre fast -vpre
