Hi Bartlomiej, here's probably the only other way to decode EAC3 (as a bonus, it handles the other formats as well).
There's a tool on Doom9's forum to do this, but it's more of a wrapper for some 3rd part DLL's. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966 It requires a copy of Nero- probably the ultimate version (or at least a version that has HD DVD/Blu-ray decoding).
