I was already subscribed, but I might as well report in. I'm doing a frame multithreading system for as many codecs as possible - this includes all of MPEG-*, H264, Snow, and the encoder. I don't know if it'll work for VP3/Theora, since their macroblocks aren't in an easy order, but I'll try. I'm mentored by Kristian Jerpetjoan, who's doing Cell/SPE stuff. 


I wonder what's the best way to handle this in the SoC repository? I  
pretty much have to copy all of lavc in there, since it's probably  
going to touch every decoder.
