iPad has a hardware decoder, so it is quite difficult to give specific
recommendations.
x264 might have some special options for these (not sure), but otherwise
there is the generic "fastdecode" tune setting which makes sure the video
is easy to decode (I don't know right now how to set that from FFmpeg).
