The gdb backtrace you show was produced using dynamically-linked installed
libraries: they lack the debugging symbols, and therefore the backtrace is
unusable.
Can you find the exact revision of the libraries installed in
/usr/local/lib? Running a recent ffmpeg binary with older libraries should
not cause a segfault, but developers are not always as careful as when
using the same version.
