#2686: Native AAC encoder collapses at high bitrates on some samples -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: Kamedo2 | Owner: Type: defect | Status: open Priority: normal | Component: avcodec Version: git-master | Resolution: Keywords: aac | Blocked By: regression | Reproduced by developer: 1 Blocking: | Analyzed by developer: 0 | -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------
Comment (by Kamedo2): I prefer warnings, rather than the error messages and stop. Kind, and easier to use. By the way, I'll be free from September 28th, and I'm considering a listening test of - v4 abr - v6 abr - v6 vbr - fdk-aac vbr - ac3 abr - libmp3lame vbr I've got a request of testing libfaac, mp2, and eac3, but I'm running out of the "slot". From my normal non-blind listening of average music, my current impression is: {{{ fdk-aac > libmp3lame > v5 abr >> v4 abr > v5 vbr > ac3 }}} -- Ticket URL: <https://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/ticket/2686#comment:165> FFmpeg <http://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker _______________________________________________ FFmpeg-trac mailing list FFmpeg-trac@avcodec.org http://avcodec.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-trac
