In the meantime, I confirm that VLC 2.1.6 shows the right duration on
longer ogv videos, I've just tried with a converted video during about 18
seconds. There is just a problem of startup on very short videos sometimes
but it has probably nothing to do with ffmpeg.
The problem is still there with totem and dragon.
