My reasoning was that thought I had narrowed down the issue to the aac
decoding, since I got the exact same error when encoding aac audio from an
mp4 container as when doing it from the extracted audio. Perhaps this is a
case of "premature optimization" on my part, but I honestly thought I was
making it easier to pinpoint the error. If not, I apologize.
