I don't know why they did that, or what exactly is going on there, and I
didn't look into it. You'll have to ask them: we only provide the source
code. This isn't a bug with FFmpeg itself. If a downstream user
configures, compiles, and/or packages something incorrectly you'll need to
contact them.
