Correct, the sample from #4544 does not contain SSR. I thought it was the
same as this issue but I was mistaken. That bug has since been resolved.
The VasHD.mpg sample I provided above was captured in Singapore, where
most of the OTA channels have aac tracks that ffmpeg reports as being SSR.
