And the CAF file doesn't contain the
[https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/documentation/MusicAudio/Reference/CAFSpec/CAF_spec/CAF_spec.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40001862-CH210-BCGCIJCF
channel layout chunk] which is mandatory as the number of channels is > 2.
This of course implies that FFmpeg (or any other tool) is free to map the
channels in the file to any position it sees fit (or even to refuse to
play the file at all). And this makes this issue invalid.
