I don't really know enough to say, but based on Carl's comment I'd say it
would at least require a bunch of flags in addition to the potential sync
issues I mentioned.
This also ties into dealing with gapless stuff, where we'd have to cut off
the end of an audio stream in certain cases, and possibly also carrying
over the "actual duration" metadata.
This means we have three classes of containers that need to deal with
this:
* MXF
* MOV
* anything that supports gapless playback of codecs like MP3
