OK.
It is a very significant difference in file size, and unexpected for me at
least.
I guess I'll have to experiment with '''-maxrate''' to find the right
balance for my use cases.
By the way, for interest - with nothing else changed, updating to the
latest nvidia driver 446.14 and using nvenc encoding adds some mb to the
encoded file.
