I'm using the option as documented here:
https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/HowToConvertYouTubeSBVtoSRT
Youtube interlaces the timestamps, and for my use I need the output
timestamps not to be overlapping - hence my use of the option. It's not
"random".
