The other problem is that in ffplay 10 bit is incorrectly presented,
overexposed and in a different way that to png. That happens in many other
cases too, not only gray10. 8 bit works perfectly always.
See for yourself: ffplay.exe -i test.mkv -vf extractplanes=y
