#9535: PNG decoder fails processing more than a certain number of frames -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: panthalassa | Owner: (none) Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Component: | undetermined Version: unspecified | Resolution: Keywords: png | Blocked By: decoding pattern_type glob | Blocking: | Reproduced by developer: 0 Analyzed by developer: 0 | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by Eric Reed):
Whoops, it seems my PNG file actually is corrupt. Curiously, neither MS Photos or GIMP reject it, although ImageMagick correctly does as well. I can't explain the behavior from OP's reporting, but maybe the original command picked up a file that the subsequent one didn't, and the file happened to be corrupt? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/9535#comment:13> FFmpeg <https://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker
