#11352: On the state of FFmpeg's ffv1_vulkan encoder implementation on Intel & NVIDIA -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: Dennis E. | Owner: (none) Mungai | Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Component: avcodec Version: git-master | Resolution: Keywords: vulkan ffv1 | Blocked By: ffv1_vulkan | Blocking: | Reproduced by developer: 0 Analyzed by developer: 0 | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by axfelix):
Super excited to see this (and thank you for the working example in this ticket, other half-documented implementations floating around weren't working until I came here). Is there any way to use more performance? Right now (on a 4090) this appears to be maxing around 188fps for me with a ~10mbit, 1080p H264 source, but neither the CPU or GPU are showing more than 20% utilization (I'm just using -c:a copy for now to see how far I can push it). I am impressed it even works on Windows :) -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/11352#comment:2> FFmpeg <https://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker
