 Update on this:

 I expanded the amount of machines i am testing on and was able to identify
 a pattern which is likely the reason for this issue. it seems only the
 machines with dual video cards which support Microsoft graphics hybrid
 have this issue.

 I'm assuming that gdigrab only uses one of these for recordings and at
 application runtime it might be getting switched and causing this issue.

 Any thoughts/suggestions on this would be appreciated!
