#11542: gdigrab sometimes fails to capture specific windows on some machines -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: malaawar | Owner: (none) Type: defect | Status: new Priority: important | Component: ffmpeg Version: git-master | Resolution: Keywords: gdigrab | Blocked By: Windows | Blocking: | Reproduced by developer: 0 Analyzed by developer: 0 | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by malaawar):
Update on this: I expanded the amount of machines i am testing on and was able to identify a pattern which is likely the reason for this issue. it seems only the machines with dual video cards which support Microsoft graphics hybrid have this issue. I'm assuming that gdigrab only uses one of these for recordings and at application runtime it might be getting switched and causing this issue. Any thoughts/suggestions on this would be appreciated! -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/11542#comment:16> FFmpeg <https://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker
