Thank you for the sample! I consider the following dark magic, it produces an ac3 file that FFmpeg can decode but shows many warnings: $ ffmpeg -i NOVA04012HDBA2x.mov -filter "channelmap=map=2-0|3-1" -f s16be out.ac3 The ac3 file is stereo though, I would be very surprised if it actually contains multichannel audio... I don't know anything about professional television transmissions, can you explain what this is / what produces it / what uses it?
