ISTR that imagemagick/graphicsmagick have quite good DPX metadata extraction
"$ [gm] identify -verbose some-file.dpx"

Note that there are both film and television frame rate values that may
not match!

But I can find just one frameratein the list:
dpx:mp.frame.rate
Where is the second one you were talking about?
