Hi,
you recently improved the quality of the AAC encoder and recomended to
use the native FFMPEG AAC encoder over the external encoders like
libfdk_aac or libfaac.
Regarding the quality of the encoder using Variable Bitrate the wiki
still states: "This VBR is experimental and likely to get even worse
results than the CBR." (https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/AAC)
What does this mean? Has the quality of the VBR encoder not improved
with the recent changes?
