Hi, I would like to create a file that has a "discrete" channel layout, e.g. have an audio track with 8 channels that are not automatically set to 7.1 surround. Is that possible with the command line? My attempts so far have been that the files are then created with 7.1 channel layout (checked using Quicktime 7 which displays the assignment of each channel and compared that to files created by cameras or other software (e.g. Adobe Media Encoder) that have this property.
