Is the issue reproducible with one of the following command lines? $ ffmpeg -f lavfi -i testsrc=d=10 -pix_fmt yuv420p -vcodec libvpx out1.mkv $ ffmpeg -f lavfi -i testsrc=d=10 -pix_fmt yuv420p -vcodec libvpx -crf 8 out2.mkv (You do agree that if one of the two command lines allow to reproduce the issue, it will be much easier to track it down, no?)
