Isn't it weird though to claim support for DNXHR_444 and DNXHR_HQX
profiles if the official specs are not supported?

OK, answering to myself, I saw on the discussion about the patch to
support DNXHR_444 encoding on the ffmpeg-devel list that you said that
10bits was also part of the specs.
Out of curiosity, what makes 12bits encoding support much more complex
to add?
