Of course you do it with email. You must put the cursor below the quoted
text, delete the excess, and start typing.

And yes, you are top posting. You are placing the cursor above the
quoted text, and you are not deleting anything!

I understand that this also happen when you use the copy command on the
shell, so this would be a Windows issue, not an ffmpeg issue. You would
have to ask about that issue on a Windows mail list or forum.
