Interesting stuff. The author should have at least tried to contribute his changes to ffmpeg though. (And not claim authorship, where all he provided was a small changeset.) > If I remember correctly, it can identify the language for > audio/subtitle streams by reading the .IFO files. It seems it's an open issue regarding subtitles: https://github.com/vigata/vgtmpeg/issues/3 > I haven't looked at it in quite a while because it was always out-of-date > with respect the ffmpeg source. It appears it's been updated to the 4.0 > branch now, but that was last year, so it's still quite out-of-date. It's almost dead-easy extracting a changeset from those sources and applying it on top of ffmpeg master HEAD. I haven't tried compiing yet though. Since it's open source, I could just as well provide that patchset as a fork/branch on Github. ;-) Cheers, Moritz _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-user mailing list ffmpeg-user@ffmpeg.org https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-user To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email ffmpeg-user-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe".
