I tested all 4 DNG images again with the latest FFmpeg version (Gyan's build from today). I tested with and without zscale filter. All tests failed. When testing with IrfanView, all DNG input images seem to be ok.

Test 1:

The image is converted without error message, but the result is much too dark.

Error message: "code 3074: no path between colorspaces"

Test 2:

This is a RAW image from a Canon 6D which was converted to DNG with Adobe DNG
Converter V12.4:  www.astro-electronic.de/IMG_3459.dng

The image is converted without error message, but the result is much too dark.

c:\ffmpeg\ffmpeg -i IMG_3459.dng -vf zscale -y out.jpg

Error message: "code 3074: no path between colorspaces"

Test 3:

This is a RAW image from a Canon 5D-MK4 which was converted to DNG with Adobe DNG
Converter V12.4. The problem is exactly the same as in test 2.


Test 4:

This is a DNG image that was directly written by a Pentax K5 camera.
