Hi Paul OMG! buffer_size is a hidden parameter!! I have looked all over (the ffmpeg documentation and beyond) for some kind of setting that would appear to do this, because the documentation does not list it as an option: https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-devices.html#pulse
Because of your prompt I decided to try it anyway. And it worked! We need to update the documentation. I had a quick look in the github repo, it's not very obvious where the documentation for pulse lives.
