Hi, is there a recommendation or best practice to signal "binaural" audio with FFMPEG? Technically it's only "stereo", sure.
I can a lot of options here https://ffmpeg.org/doxygen/4.0/group__channel__mask__c.html scaled for channel-based and ambisonics, too. Even a definition for "channel layout stereo downmix". The latter, IMHO, would justify also a dedicated description for "binaural". Any thoughts or suggestions?
