Maybe I don't need 'abitscope'. It's just an experiment when I found that 'oscilloscope' didn't
display audio levels.
I have a 5.1 channel DTS soundtrack. It's the only soundtrack. I want to mux in a new, 2 channel AC3
soundtrack with soft dialog emphasized. I'm using 'loudnorm' & 'pan'.
Here's the problem: I need to measure the sound level at a particular half-second moment in order to
set 'loudnorm's threshold. I need to do that because I can't get a linear gain that doesn't
emphasize background sounds. Those background sounds are fainter, but they are annoying.
How would you do it?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
