Have you read https://www.ffmpeg.org/legal.html ? That should answer many of the questions.

In general, if you do not _distribute_ code based on ffmpeg, but only use it "in-house", you can do whatever you want with it (that is, if it's part of your company's internal process but never sent to customers).
