F FOR FAKE [1975], a Criterion DVD made in 2005.
467 Criterion splash screens are tagged 30/1.001 FPS, confirmed.
There are 127204 more frames tagged 24/1.001 FPS, confirmed.

Running times:
1:28:41.049 - source, computed, 467/(30/1.001)+127204/(24/1.001).
1:10:59.9557 - target, if all 127671 frames are tagged 30/1.001 FPS.
1:28:44.944625 - target, if all 127671 frames are tagged 24/1.001 FPS.
1:28:44.945 - target, actual, MPV reports.
1:28:38.310 - target, FFprobe reports (?).

Fact: All 127671 target frames are tagged 24/1.001 FPS, confirmed.

Q: How did FFprobe come up with 1:28:38.310?

I assert that FFmpeg & FFprobe will never be fully useful until all
options and reports and durations are in frame numbers, not times.

I assert that FFprobe will not be fully understandable until it reports
the various segments that are of differing FPS as separate sections.

I remain convinced that these issues are related to reported PTS & DTS
errors and discontinuities _that_don't_actually_exist_.

Regards,
Mark.
