[FFmpeg-user] ffmpeg installed OK but cannot find input files

[Richard via ffmpeg-user]

verified correct installation by checking version, and put sequentially 
numbered img files in a folder called "input" but no matter where I put 
that folder, ffmpeg cannot find them...

screenshot follows - please advise?
