Same problem with an input file. With Ubuntu 10.4 both, the native package and ffmpeg-0.8.2.tar.gz work. "ffmpeg -r 18 -i t.avi http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm" converts 300 fps and uses 100% cpu. Is ffmpeg supposed to convert at maximum speed? ffserver uses less then 1% cpu. With Ubuntu 11.4 same problem with package and the jar. ffmpeg uses 50% cpu (only user), ffserver uses 50% cpu (1/4 user 3/4 sys). By the way - there seems to be a new glitch in the git head snapshot. "ffmpeg -r 18 -i t.avi http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm" says: Output #0, ffm, to 'http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm': Stream #0.0: Invalid Codec type -1 Best regards, Edwin _______________________________________________ ffserver-user mailing list ffserver-user@ffmpeg.org http://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffserver-user
