Neither exactly, I guess.
I was trying to comment on it in light of FHS's role to document
practice rather than set policy. Perhaps premature. I know not everyone
agrees FHS should be entirely passive.
Anyway this discussion has turned over a few rocks that show some
weaknesses in wording in this area... I wish we had the bugtracker back
but I suppose this thread will stay in the archive for when it's
possible to get back to work on FHS. I do have a branch of fhs-spec
here, it's true.
