What do you mean by the rise? Some of our sheep late in gestation seem to
loose their wool if you pull it. But it seems to come ouy of the the skin
not a wool break. The fleeces themselves are fine, the skin looks good. We
had a ewe last year who had a difficult pregnancy and when we finally got
the shearer here we plucked her rather than use the clippers. Her fleece was
fine-and spun up nicely. Barbara
