I am not a regular psoter nor am I an animal owner, but... Robin's post was timely and well put. We all need to be thinking about the other guy in this whole episode as well as ourselves. Hysterical finger-pointing gets us nowhere. People are losing their livelihoods and stock over this through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. Precautions are good and should be undertaken with a minimum of fuss. What we should be seeing on this list is support for those who are having difficulties - not recriminations and scare alerts. Off my soap box now, Robin, and anyone else who is feeling the pain of this situation, my best thoughts are going your way. It is one thing to lose an animal, it is another to lose a prized friend as well. Hang in there! I, for one, am cheering for you!
