If you pluck your angora you will have much less shedding. There is a microscopic "hook" on the end that will help the fiber hold on. Commercial operations shear the rabbits. I try to pluck all my angora as it is a joy to take a handle of it and just spin away with no preparation at all. When I do have to shear the rabbit I usually card it into other fiber. I don't care for 100% angora yarn at all but blended or plyed with mohair, wool, silk, etc. it is simply divine...
