I was on two sheep-to-shawl teams with Barbara Clorite (hi, Barb!), and she modestly
didn't mention that we could never have spared two team members for the weaving if she
didn't spin as fast as three people.
The Spin-Off issue in which the right angles shawl appears is Summer 1993.
The article is titled "A Hundred Seconds to Spare." It has a diagram of the shawl
technique and also describes our strategy for the competition.
We first saw this shawl method in the Spring 1987 issue of Shuttle, Spindle and Dyepot
in an article by Judy Pfeiffer called "Shawls without Seams."
