Hi, Folks, Wanted to let everybody know: I just spent four days at Medrith's Knitters' Retreat...carried my knitting needles and scissors in the checkin luggage, had a WIP in my carryon "purse" with a plastic circular needle in it. Even knitted in flight and nobody said a word. My carryon needle was plastic so maybe they didn't realize it was there, but my metal cane did set off alarms and a man had to lend me his arm to walk through the machine without it. My plastic circular needle was from a Denise kit, needles about 4" long with a plastic cable between, didn't carry any scissors (used a dental floss holder in case I needed to cut yarn), so it can be done.
