My husband has gently pointed out that it is a Fibonacci series. I think I
prefer my spelling. The series goes 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34.... I like it for
blending stripes in weaving and gradually increasing or decreasing size. I
gather it shows in nature mainly in spirals.

Someday I will weave a color gamp using the series for blending (with the
yarn or at the carding stage I haven't but begun to ponder) from one pure
color to the next. Not surprisingly, I love gamps. If you change the block
size from narrow to big and back across the piece it seems to bulge out of
the wall......

So much fiber fun, but now it is time to build a chicken coop.
