Don't forget that lace shawls stretch nicely, and lace should be stretched to present itself best! The shawl is probably okay. Also, there's that accessory that is bigger than a scarf and a bit smaller than a big shawl, but darn'd if I can remember what it is called - you may have made one of those! Very practical.
