DH has an african violet plant in his office that is thriving like I have never seen this plant do anywhere. He noticed that the flowers that have dried up and are dropping off are a strong blue color, and wants to know if this is a potential dye plant. He says that touching the petals stains his fingers purple. Has anybody used this as a dye plant, and if not, what would be the best way to start experimenting with it?
