Good Morning, You don't shear them or pluck them or anything else. the hair just sort of peels off their humps. that is the only part that produces anything useful. Then you get to pick the guard hairs out I usually do this after I wash it. OH yeah you get it off the fences they rub to get it off. No I wouldn't want to get really close to one.
